For I know the plans for you, declares the LORD plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Hopes 4 Tavin
Tavin was born with VACTERL, a rare birth defect that is seen in about only 250 live births a year worldwide.
Tavin Kahiau Puni Depontes was born on February 17, 2010 to parents Thomas and Tahisha Depontes. He is the middle child with Thomas Jr (oldest brother) and Taylan (baby sister). Tavin has had over 30 surgeries to date. Last year Tavins family received devastating news that his last surgery in Cincinnati had failed and that surgery was necessary. After seeking a second opinion, Boston Childrens Hospital graciously reviewed Tavins case and advised that Tavin will need major airway reconstruction and a possible organ transplant, they feel with a case as complex as Tavin its best if Boston Children attempt the next surgery. Tavin is scheduled to have surgery on March 12, 2013. The Family of Tavin are KINDLY asking for any and all support and to please keep Tavin in your prayers.

Tavin Kahiau Puni Depontes was born February 17, 2010 to parents Thomas and Tahisha Depontes. We are asking for your support in getting Tavin to Boston Children’s Hospital. Tavin has had over 30 surgeries to date and has spent most of his 2 years in and out of Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children Hospital.
Tavin’s next major surgery needs to be done at Boston Children’s Hospital where surgeons feel that Tavin needs major airway reconstruction and that an organ transplant may be imminent. The length of his stay there is still unknown at this time but he’s already looking forward to his return back home.
The families of Tavin Kahiau Puni Depontes would GREATLY APPRECIATE your kindness and support and to please keep Tavin in your prayers.
